Present Tense

The stomach ache the night before. Before the interview. Before the pitch. Before the hard conversation.

Present Tense is built around that feeling, the one you've been avoiding your whole life.

If only avoiding it made you stronger.

Avoidance feeds fear. Take one day to break the cycle.

An intimate room. Kind strangers. Real situations.

You come out stronger.

This is for you if

The room is held by

Yash Yash Co-Founder, Present Tense

Three years building All-In Improv alongside Praveen. Over two thousand people taught, five shows produced, more than two hundred two-hour sessions run for people doing this for the first time. Outside that, he mentors business owners as Director Consultant at BNI, and works with startup founders trying to find their next step when they're stuck. Present Tense is what they built with that experience.

Praveen Praveen Co-Founder, Present Tense

Eight years in improv, the last four spent teaching it. Three years ago, he and Yash started All-In Improv together. The same two thousand people, the same five shows, the same two hundred sessions. Present Tense is what they built with that experience.

Here's what people had to say.

Fair questions.

You're right to ask again. A room that won't explain itself, and asks you to trust it anyway, can also be the room that goes wrong.

You're on your feet more than you're seated, working in pairs or small groups. The situations are real, pulled from your own week, not handed to you as a script. Nobody performs for an audience. Nobody is put on the spot without warning. You can pass on anything, no reason needed. What's said in the room stays in the room.

People went through this on 26 July, not knowing what was coming. We watched their bodies react before their minds caught up, shallow breath, cold hands, before anyone could name the feeling. More than one found it easier to accept applause for a failure than for something they'd done well. Someone did a thing they'd avoided for years, and doubted they'd actually done it.

None of that is a promise about what happens to you. It's what happened the last time we did this.

No. It isn't therapy and it doesn't replace it. It's a day built around a specific feeling, run by facilitators, not clinicians.

That's allowed. Most people do, at some point. The day is built around what happens next, not around getting it right the first time.

Anyone who's felt this. Employees, founders, managers. The room doesn't care what you do for a living.
