For teams

Present Tense for Teams

The stomach ache before a hard call. The quiet in a review nobody wants to sit through. The conversation a team keeps almost having.

Present Tense works with that reaction, the same one it works with in individuals, run for a team that has to move through it together.

Yash and Praveen have spent years building experiences for rooms of every kind. Present Tense grew out of one observation that kept repeating: the body reacts to pressure before the mind decides how to respond. Shallow breath, a racing heart, the urge to go quiet or over-explain, all before anyone's chosen it.

In a team, that reaction shows up constantly, in reviews, in disagreement, in the moment someone needs to speak up and doesn't. Run inside a team, the same day does specific work. It makes conflict something to move through instead of route around. It gives people a shared, practiced way of staying in a hard moment instead of managing around it.

What teams take away

Who's behind it

Praveen Praveen Co-Founder, Present Tense

Eight years in improv, the last four spent teaching it. Three years ago, he and Yash started All-In Improv together: over two thousand people taught, five shows produced, more than two hundred sessions run for people trying this for the first time. Praveen also co-founded Microforge, an AI startup, and has spent real time inside accelerators and in front of VCs, so he knows the pressure a growing team is actually under.

Yash Yash Co-Founder, Present Tense

Three years building All-In Improv alongside Praveen, the same two thousand people, the same five shows, the same two hundred sessions. Yash also co-founded MACJ, a real estate business, and works with founders and business owners across industries as Director Consultant at BNI, giving him a wide, cross-industry read on how teams actually behave under pressure.

People from Google, Hindustan Unilever, NoBroker, MathCo, Navi, and slice have sat in a room one of them has run.
